Embassy Suites Frisco
The conference will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas-Frisco Hotel, located at 7600 John Q. Hammons Drive in Frisco. The hotel has extended a rate of $162 (single or double) until February 18 or until the room block is full. Overnight self-parking is $5 per night and valet is available for $20 per night plus tax. Your room rate includes complimentary cooked to order breakfast and evening reception. 

Not an overnight guest? You can still take advantage of the hotel’s cooked order breakfast for $16 per person inclusive.

Hotel Note on Guestroom Deposits: The hotel requires a credit card on file which will be charged $25 per night as a hold on the account until your bill is paid in full at checkout. For details regarding this policy please contact the hotel.

Attendee Registration Fee – $235
The attendee registration fee for TML member city officials includes educational sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, online access to
handouts, lunch on Thursday, continental breakfast on Friday, and scheduled refreshment breaks. The fee increases to $255 after February 17.

Guest/Spouse Registration – $75
The guest registration fee includes all educational sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, continental breakfast on Friday, and scheduled refreshment breaks.  Thursday lunch is not included in the guest registration fee but may be purchased onsite. Please note that a city official may not register as a guest.

Non-Member Rate – $285
The non-member registration fee includes educational sessions on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, online access to handouts, lunch on Thursday, continental breakfast on Friday, and scheduled refreshment breaks.

Cancellation and Substitution Policy
If you are registered and cannot attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute, a $45 cancellation fee per person will be assessed if written cancellation is emailed to acct@tml.org by February 17. Telephone cancellations will not be accepted. Please note that no refunds or transfers to other events will be honored after February 17 and meal tickets are non-refundable. Substitutions are always accepted.

Confirmations, Badges, and Tickets
Registration confirmations will be emailed if you provide an email address. Name badges and optional tickets ordered will be mailed to all attendees registered up to one week before the conference. Please show your conference name badge when you check in at the registration desk to receive your final program. Conference attendees and registered guests must wear their name badge at all times.

Texas Municipal League Institute (TMLI)
Elected officials can earn Texas Municipal League Institute (TMLI) credit by attending the Elected Officials’ Conference. CEU forms will be available onsite. For more information on the TMLI program, visit About TMLI, or contact us at tmli@tml.org.

Are There Prerequisites?
No prerequisites are required to attend the Elected Officials’ Conference.

Dress Code
Dress casually and comfortably. We recommend that you dress in layers for your comfort as meeting room temperatures tend to fluctuate.
